The new starbucks cups are out and the lights are on...

Christmas is officially scarily close, I don't tend to like admitting to it being Christmas at the beginning of November but with London and it's plethora of shops (impressive word huh?)...it's quite hard to forget...have you seen Debenhams on Oxford Street!? Bloody Hell! The Visual team had clearly eaten too many brandy laced mince pies the day they thought that one up.

So I thought I would share my Christmas list (what I want, not what I'm giving that would be silly), the reason is two fold...firstly, I can add to it when I see more things and secondly I can send the link to my Dad who has already asked for a list...easy! In no particular order...

1) Fred Perry Bag from the Laurel store in Covent Garden.

2) Kylie X tour on DVD - this could be difficult as I don't know it actually exists but gonna put it out there.

3) Blackberry Case.

4) New Girls Aloud Album - Out of Control

5) New Pink Album - Funhouse

6) Fred Perry Laurel Polo Shirt

7) Some more bear-bricks

8) Spooks TV series boxset- Series One

9) Professor Layton & The Curious Village Nintendo DS game.

10) My French Coach: Intermediate Nintendo DS game

11) Starbucks gift card/ voucher thing.

12) Blackberry Desktop Charger

13) Prada : AMBER pour Homme fragrance

Hmm that will do for now...Happy Christmas!

""Grinch” council bans Christmas tunes at Debenhams Oxford Street
At a time when London’s councils could do with some positive publicity, Westminster City Council has seemingly declined to enter the festive spirit by ordering Debenhams’ to cease playing carols to shoppers outside its Oxford Street store.
The council believes that the carols will cause “noise pollution”, despite Oxford Street being one of the capital’s busiest roads.
The outrage surrounding the ban reached the House of Commons yesterday when Tory MP Julian Lewis attacked the move and contrasted it with a noisy protest allowed to go ahead outside parliament. To get round the ban, he suggested, Debenhams should "intersperse the carols with tones of abuse of politicians and our Armed Forces".
A Debenhams spokesman confirmed the ban, adding: "All we were trying to do was bring a bit of festive cheer to Oxford Street. It was never our intention to irritate anyone. We offered to turn it down”.
